its a shame the theme wasn't saved for the OVA, though I understand why it wasn't. Just because of ALL of the soldiers, Levi, Isabel and Farlan the only ones who didn't get a choice in joining. It was join or be subjected to the punishments of the MPs and Merchants that they stole from, likely would've ended in at LEAST the death of Levi. Unless they somehow managed to get away from both MPs and SC which considering how easily the SC caught them was very unlikely and they knew that. So yeah if I were matching this theme, personally I would've saved it for the OVA, though I do think its a great bit of foreshadowing for the OVA considering its basically only played when Levi is in the picture. Levi is the reluctant hero forced into his life and to keep living his trapped life even after the deaths of Farlan and Isabel, the other two reluctant heroes.
